Given :
Angle A = 75°
CE//AB
Angle ECD = 40°

To find :

Other angles of the triangle .

Solution :
Angle BAC = Angle ACE = 75° (Alternate interior angles)

Now ,

Angle BCA + Angle ACE + angle ECD=180°(Linear Pair)
Angle BCA + 75° +40° = 180°
Angle BCA + 105° = 180°
Angle BCA = 180°-115° = 65°

Now ,

In ∆ ABC ,

Angle A + Angle B + Angle C = 180°
Angle A + 75°+65°= 180°
Angle A = 180°-140° = 40° .
