Question 1

[Using angle sum property]

→ Sum of three angles = 180°

→ 40°+50°+x = 180°

→ 90°+x = 180°

→ x = 180-90

→ x = 90°

Question 2

[Again using angle sum property]

→ Sum of three angles = 180°

→ 90°+x = 180°

→ x = 180-90°

→ x = 90°

Question 3

[Once again using angle sum property]

→ Sum of three angles = 180°

→ 90°+48°+x = 180°

→ 138°+x = 180°

→ x = 180-138

→ x = 42°

Given Info:-

  • 1) (In the given attachment).

  • 2) Sum of two angles of a triangle is 90°. (In the given attachment).

  • 3) Measure of one angle of a right angled triangle is 48°. (In the given attachment).

To find:-

  • 1) Find the third angle of this triangle. What type of triangle is this ? Why ?

  • 2) Find the third angle. What type of triangle is this ?

  • 3) find the other

Formula used:-

  • Angle sum property.

Solutions:-

As we know that sum of three angles = 180°

Then,

Let the third angle be x.

➙ 40° + 50° + x = 180°

➙ 90° + x = 180°

➙ x = 180 - 90

x = 90°

So, the third angle is 90°

_________________________

As we know that sum of three angles = 180°

Then,

Let the third angle be x.

➙ 90°+x = 180°

x = 180-90°

x = 90°

__________________________

As we know that sum of three angles = 180°

Then,

Let the other two angles be x.

➙ 90° + 48° + x = 180°

➙ 138° + x = 180°

➙ x = 180 - 138

x = 42°

Hence, the answers are,

  • Third angle = 90°
  • Third angle = 90°
  • Other two angles = 42°

Hope it helps u
