step 1 = 15 - 3 = 12
step 2= 12 - 3 = 9
step 3 = 9 - 3 = 6
step 4 = 6 - 3 = 3
step 5 = 3 - 3 = 0

the number of steps to get 0 is 5
each girl will get 3.

step 1 = 15 - 6 = 9
step 2= 9 - 6 = 3
step 3 = 3 - 3 = 0

the number of steps to get 0 is 3.
each girl will get 3

NOTE - in first step dividing 6 flowers between 2 children and in second step also dividing 6 flowers dividing between 2 children and in last step remaining 3 flowers will get the last child.
