★ Applying law of conservation of energy,

★ ∆E = work done = {(k.E)f + (P.E)f } - (K.E)i + {(P.E)i}

★ initial K.E = 1/2mv^2 = 1/2 ×3 × 2 × 2 = 6j

initial P.E = mgh = 3 × 10× 4 = 120 j

★ final K.E = 1/2 × 3 × 6 × 6 = 54j

P.E final = mgh = 3 × 10 × 1 = 30j

●【putting the values in above formula 】

work done = ∆E = (126 - 84)j = 42j

©orrect answer is option 1
