Question :-

Mr Latif left a property worth RS. 750,000 . His family had to pay on a Debt of RS. 50,000 . The rest of the money was distributed to his 2 sons and a daughter in such way that each son receives twice that of received by the daughter How much money did each child received ?

Answer :-

Given :-

▪️Total value of Property :- Rs. 750,000

▪️Amount of debt to be paid :- RS. 50,000

▪️No. of childrens :- 3

▪️ Each son received twice the amount received by the daughter.

Now as there was a debt of RS. 50,000 so the amount left from the property

= 750,000 - 50,000

= Rs. 700,000

Now as there are 3 children

Let the share of daughter be x , then each of the sons received 2x .

→ x + 2x + 2x = 700,000

→ 5x = 700,000

→ x = 700,000 ÷ 5

→ x = 140,000

So Share of

▪️Daughter = 140,000

▪️Son = 280,000 each
