Let the digit on one's place be x and the digit on tens place be y,

Given, x - y = 3

so,

x = 3+y....(i)

The number = 10y+x

Number obtained by reversing the digits = 10x+y

A/Q:-

7(10y+x) = 4(10x+y)

70y + 7x = 40x + 4y

70y-4y = 40x-7x

66y = 33x

66/33y = x

2y = x

Putting the value of eq (i) we get,

2y = 3+y

2y-y = 3

y = 3

x = 3+y = 3+3 = 6

The number = 36

Cheers!
