1. p (x) = 2x³-3kx²+4x-5

Let αlpha, beta, gamma be the zeroes of p (x). We know There sum is -b/a.

Sum of the zeroes = 6 (Given)

So,
alpha+ beta+ gamma = 6

-(-3k)/2 = 6
3k = 12
k = 4 (ans)

2. p(x) = 5x²+13x+ k

Given one zero is reciprocal of other.

Zeroes be x and 1/x

To find value of k -

Product of roots of an equation = c/a
=> x * 1/x = k/5
=> 1 = k/5 => k = 5 (ans)
