Step-by-step explanation:

Given:- AB = AC , angle 1 = angle 2

To prove:- angle PBC = angle PCB

Proof:- In triangle ABP and triangle ACP,

AB = AC ...........(given)

angle 1 = angle 2...................(given)

AP = AP ...............(common)

By SAS congruence rule, triangles ABP and ACP are congruent.

By CPCT, angle ABP = angle ACP

In triangle ABC , angle B and angle C are equal because triangle is isosceles.

Angle B = angle ABP + angle PBC

Angle C = angle ACP + angle PCB

Angle B = Angle C

angle ABP + angle PBC = angle ACP + angle PCB

angle ABP + angle PBC + angle ACP = angle PCB

angle PBC = angle PCB .............( angle ABP and angle ACP are equal)

Hence proved
