ANSWER:-

Given:

E & F are the mid points of equal sides, AB & AC of a ∆ABC, respectively.

To find:

Show that BF = CE.

Proof:

E & F are the midpoints of AB & AC.

Assume ∆EBC & ∆FCB

EB= FC [E & F are mid-points of AB& AC]

BC = BC [common side]

∠EBC = ∠FCB

[angles opposite to equal side are equal]

Therefore,

∆EBC ≅∆FCB

Thus,

BF = CF [c.p.c.t]

Proved.

Hope it helps ☺️
