ANSWER:-

Given:

In ∆ABC & ∆PQR, If AB= AC , ∠C = ∠P & ∠B=∠Q.

To prove:

Prove that the two triangles are Isosceles but not congruent.

Proof:

In ∆ABC

AB= AC.

So,

∆ABC is an Isosceles triangle.

Given,

∠C = ∠P..............(1)

∠B = ∠Q.............(2)

&

In ∆ABC;

AB = AC.

So,

∠B = ∠C............(3)

From equation (1),(2)& (3),we get;

∠P = ∠Q

So,

In ∆PQR

PR = QR

Hence,

The triangle PQR is an Isosceles ∆.
