Answer:

Length = 15m^2

Breadth = 12m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length be x

and breadth be y

Then area= x × y

=xy

GIVEN

When length is increased by 2 and breadth is increased by 3 then area increases by 75m^2

So, Area

[(x +2)(y +3)= xy+75]m^2

[ xy+3x+2y+6=xy+75]m^2

[xy+3x+2y-xy= 75-6]m^2

[3x+2y=69]m^2 .........1

GIVEN

when length decresed by 2 and breadth increased by 3 area is increased by 15 m^2

So, Area

[(x-2)(y+3)= xy+15] m^2

[xy +3x-2y-6= xy+15 ]m^2

[xy +3x-2y-xy= +15+6 ]m^2

[3x-2y = 21]m^2 ...........2

NOW, from equation 1 and 2

[3x+2y-(3x-2y) =69-21]m^2

[4y=48]m^2

[y=12]m^2

THEREFORE,

Breadth =12m^2

Length=[3x+2y=69]m^2

from equation 1

3x+2(12)=69

3x+24=69

3x=45

x=15
