Answer:

2-x²/x²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :- a+ b = π/2

•°• b = π/2-a_____(1)

given :- sina = 1/x = p/h______(2)

We know that , cos2b = cos²b-sin²b

=> cos²b - (1-cos²b) •°• sin²A = 1-cos²A

=> 2cos²b -1

=> 2*cos²(π/2-a) -1 ______from (1)

=> 2sin²a -1

=> 2(1/x)² -1 _____from (2)

=> 2/x² -1

cos2b = 2-x²/x² Answer

  \underline\bold{solution \:  - }

It is given in the question that A + B = π /2 and B + C = A.

Hence, A = π /2 – B

So, tan A = tan (π /2 – B) which gives tan A = cot B

Now, tan Atan B = 1

Also,

B + C = A

So,

C = A – B

tan C = tan (A – B)

also,

tan C = (tan A – tanB)/ (1 + tan A tan B)

tan C = (tan A – tanB)/ (1 + 1)

Therefore, 2 tan C = tan A – tan B

Hence, tan A =tanB + 2 tan C.
