Answer

we know that,

 \boxed{ \bold{volume \: of \: cuboid = lbh}}

here it is given that,

  • length of the brick = 20 cm
  • breadth of the brick = 10 cm
  • height of the brick = 3.5 cm

 \bold{ : \implies 20 \times 10 \times 3.5} \\  \\  \bold{:  \implies 700 \:  {cm}^{3} }  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

so, volume of each brick is 700 cm³

now,

  • length of the wall = 25m = 2500 cm
  • breadth of the wall = 2m = 200 cm
  • height of the wall = 0.35m = 35 cm

 \bold{: \implies 2500 \times 200 \times 35 } \\  \\  \bold{:  \implies 17500000 \:  {cm}^{3} } \:  \:  \:

so, volume of the wall is 17500000 cm³

now,

 \underline{ \boxed{ \bold{no. \: of \: bricks =  \frac{volume \: of \:the \:  wall}{volume \: of \: each \: brick} }}}

 \implies \bold{ \cancel \frac{17500000}{700}  \:  \:}   \:  \:  \:  \: \\  \\  \bold{ \implies25000 \: bricks  }

hence, 25000 bricks are required for making the wall
