Solution

Given :-

  • sin²θ/(tan² θ - sin² θ) = 3

Find :-

  • Value of theta (θ)

Explanation

Given that,

==> sin²θ/(tan² θ - sin² θ) = 3

==> sin² θ = 3 × ( tan² θ - sin² θ)

==>sin² θ = -3sin² θ + 3 tan² θ

==> sin² θ + 3 sin² θ = 3 tan² θ

==> 4sin² θ = 3 tan² θ

Using Formula

★ tan θ = sin θ/cos θ

==> 4 sin² θ = 3 sin² θ/cos² θ

==> cos² θ = 3/4

==> cos θ = √(3/4)

==> cos θ = √3/2

Wr Know,

cos 30° = 3/2

so,

==> cos θ = cos 30°

==> θ = 30°

Hence

  • Value of θ will be = 30°
