Basically it’s a local area network(LAN) which is designed to connect each node directly to a central network hub.

In star topology, each node Connected to a central node or the hub/switch. If any node has to send some information To any other node , it sends The signal to the central node or hub/switch which further retransmits the message to the intended node.
