Given : Length of the tank = 50 m.

Given : Breadth of the tank = 40 m.

Area of the tank = length * breadth

                           = 50 * 40

                           = 2000 m^2.

Given : Volume = 60000 m^3

We know that Depth of the tank = Volume of the tank/Area

                                                      = 60000/2000

                                                      = 30 m.

Therefore, the depth of the tank = 30 m.

Hope this helps!

given :-

length of the cuboidal tank = 50m and it's breadth is 40m.

we are given here the volume (capacity) of the cuboidal tank, that is 60000m³ now we have to find it's height (depth)

we know that length × breadth × height = volume of a cuboid

therefore l × b × h = 60000m³
→ 50 × 40 × h = 60000m³
→ 2000 × h = 60000m³
→ h = 60000/2000
→ h = 30m

hence, the depth of the cuboidal tank is 30m.
