Let the height of triangle be x and the base be 4x.

A.T.Q

1/2×base×height=50
1/2×4x×x=50
 {4x}^{2}  \div 2 = 50
 {4x }^{2}  = 50 \times 2 \\  {4x}^{2}  = 100 \\  {x}^{2}  = 100 \div 4 \\  {x}^{2}  = 25 \\ x =  \sqrt{25}
x=5

Therefore length of base = 4x =4×5=20m.

Let the height of the triangle be h

Let the base be b

Area = 1 / 2 * b * h

Given:

base is 4 times the height

base = 4 h

So:

Area = 1 / 2 * 4 h * h

50 m² = 2 * h²

==> h² = 50 m² / 2

==> h² = 25 m

==> h = 5 m

The base is 4 times h

==> 4* 5m

==> 20 m

The answer to the question is 20 m

Hope it helps you
