First let's find area of whole square

Area of square = S × S ( S = Side)

=> 10 × 10

=> 100Cm

Now lets find Area of traingle

Area of traingle = h × b / 2 (h = height, b = base)

=> 10 × 10 / 2

=> 50Cm

LETS Subtract the both areas

=> 100Cm –50 Cm

=> 50Cm

area of the shaded part is 50Cm
