Answer:

place the object at -0.25cm

Explanation:

Given we have f = 15 cm

let us take u as x and h2 as 4x

so that, 1/f = 1/v - 1/u

             1/f - 1/u = 1/v

             1/15 - 1/x = 1/v

1/v = x - 15/ 15x

v = 15x / x - 15

M = h1 / h2 = v / u

h1 = h2 * v / u

   = 4x * 15x / x ( x - 15)

x² - 15x = 60x²

-15x = 59x²

x = 59x² / -15

x = -3.9x²

1 = -3.9x

x = -1/ 3.9

x = -0.25 cm

in diagram, draw the lens and place the object very near to lens and draw F1 a little far. Draw the image at 2F1 at the same side, inverted
