1.{ - 4}^{5 - 8} =  { - 4}^{ - 3}  =  \frac{ - 1}{ { 4}^{3} }

2. {a}^{3 + 2 + ( - 5)}  =  {a}^{0}  = 1

 3.{2}^{2 \times  - 3}  =  {2}^{ - 6} or \frac{1}{ {2}^{6} }

4.x + ( - 4) = 5 =  > x - 4 = 5 =  > x = 5 + 4 =  > x = 9

5.( {3}^{ - 7 - ( - 9)} ) \times  {3}^{ - 4}  =  >  {3}^{2}  \times  {3}^{ - 4}  = >  {3}^{2 + ( - 4)}  =  >  {3}^{ - 2}  =  >  \frac{1}{ {3}^{2 } }  =  >  \frac{1}{9}
