hey,i didnt get the frst step.since u chnged it into multiplief form should the denominator be changed aswell

that i know,shouldnt the denominator be changed as well?Thats my question...what i mean is,indeed the sign gets changed but if we convert it in multiplied wont the denominator comes in numerator place.?
if denominator comes to numerator, the index becomes as tease.
