a) The methane in Uranus' upper atmosphere absorbs the red light from the Sun but reflects the blue light from the Sun back into space. This is why Uranus appears blue. Uranus and Neptune are blue or blue green for the same reasons, methane in the atmosphere.
b) The thick atmosphere of Venus makes its surface hotter as the heat doesn't escape back into space. VENUS IS EVEN HOTTER THAN MERCURY THOUGH IT IS RELATIVELY FARTHER AWAY FROM THE SUN. THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE HIGH PERCENTAGE OF CARBON DIOXIDE IN IT'S ATMOSPHERE. THIS GAS TRAPS MOST OF THE SUN'S HEAT FALLING ON IT.
c) The moon is totally opaque and it does not have any light of its own. It reflects the sunlight that falls on it, and therefore, the shape and size of the bright side of the moon starts changing everyday gradually. The intensity of the sunlight that falls on the moon makes the phase of the moon change everyday.
d) So… as we we orbit the sun, we move to the East, about 1 degree every day. We rotate once in about 24 hours, which means we rotate at about 1 degree every 4 minutes. As we orbit in the same direction we rotate, a star will rise about 4 minutes earlier every day.
e) Comets are very large in size but they appear to be small as they are far from our Earth. They are large dirt particles . They can't emit their own light so when they come near to sun the light falls on comet and they shine. So Comets become visible only when they are near the sun.
