Torque  = r x F

Wherein

This can be calculated by using either  τ =r1 F  or τ =r . F1

r1 = perpendicular distance from origin to the line of force.

F1 = component of force perpendicular to line joining force.

mg C1 x1 = mg sinθ

mg C2x2 = (S1S2 - S2C2) mg = mg L / 2 cosθ - mg L sinθ

mg C1x1  = mg C2x2

=> tan θ  = 1/3

Thus the value of tan θ =  1/3
