hi Abhishek,

Hint:
(1/x)^(-1) = x^1 = x

(1/x)^(-2) = x^2

so
now your question can be written as
(3^2 - 2^3) / 4^2
= (9-8)/16
= 1/16

Hope it helped
Let me know if any doubts
Cheers !!!

abhishek12341: 1/4 was in divide
abhishek12341: but you changes it into
abhishek12341: multiply
ABHINAVrAI: it's a property
jish4you: see the hint
jish4you: (1/x)^(-1) = x
jish4you: so divide becomes multiply when power is negative
jish4you: its a property
jish4you: got it?
jish4you: (1/4)^(-2) = ((1/4)^(-1))^2 = (4)^2 = 16
