We know that the curved surface area of a cone with radius rr and slant height  is CSA=πrl

It is given that the curved surface area of the cone is CSA=60π cm2 and the slant height is l=8 cm, therefore,

CSA=πrl

⇒60π=π×r×8

⇒60=8r

⇒r=60/8=7.5

Hence, radius the cone is 7.5cm.

HOPE IT HELPS :)
