Hey Mate,

Given Equation :-

=> \frac{17(2-x)-5(x+12)}{1-7x} = 8

Then,

=> \frac{(34-17x)-(5x+60)}{1-7x} = 8

=> \frac{34-17x-5x-60}{1-7x} = 8

=> \frac{-22x-26}{1-7x} = 8

=> -22x-26=8(1-7x)

=> -22x-26=8-56x

=> -26-8=-56x+22x

=> -34=-34x

=> x=-34/-34

=> <strong>x = 1</strong>

Therefore, x = 1 is the solution for :-

\frac{17(2-x)-5(x+12)}{1-7x} = 8
