Solution :-

Points :-

A (2, 3), B( 4, k) and C( 6 - 3 )

To prove they are collinear.

Apply staircase Method and equate to zero.

| 2 3 |

| 4 K | × 1/2 = 0

| 6 -3 |

| 2 3 |

\huge{\bf{\implies}}= [2k - 3(4) -4(3) - 6(k) + 6(3) -(-3)(2)] ×1/2 = 0

\huge{\bf{\implies}} [ 2k -12 -12-6k+18+6] × 1/2 = 0

\huge{\bf{\implies}} [-4k ] = 0

\huge{\bf{\implies}} K = 0 /-4

\huge{\bf{\implies}} k = 0

\boxed{\bf{\red{\mathcal{Answer : K= 0}}}}

Given that A, B and C are collinear

Hence ar(DABC) = 0
