In ∆ OAP,
cos θ = OA/OP [ A is a point where the ray from the centre cuts the circle ]
= 1/2÷1
= 1/2
Θ = arccos 1/2
= 60° Answer
Now, sin 60° = AP /OP
√3/2 = AP/1
therefore AP = 2/√3 Answer
[ AP is the y coordinate of P ]
