to find coordinates of P and angle and θ

as it is a unit circle, radius OP = 1 unit

In ∆ OAP,

cos θ = OA/OP [ A is a point where the ray from the centre cuts the circle ]

= 1/2÷1

= 1/2

Θ = arccos 1/2

= 60° Answer

Now, sin 60° = AP /OP

√3/2 = AP/1

therefore AP = 2/√3 Answer

[ AP is the y coordinate of P ]

coordinates of P (1/2, 2/√3)
