Answer:

9000, 72, 624

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, Market value of 10 shares is 15 and investment is 4500.

So, the number of shares vivek bought = (4500/15) = 300.

(i) the sale proceeds:

Given, Selling price of 1 share = 30.

∴ Selling price of 300 shares = (30 * 300) = 9000.

Therefore, vivek's proceeds = 9000.

(ii) the number of Rs.125 shares he buys:

Given that he invests his proceeds in 12% shares worth 100 at 125.

Investment = 9000, Market value of 1 share = 125.

Therefore,number of shares he bought = 9000/125 = 72.

(iii) The change in his annual income from dividend:

Annual income(dividend) from the previous shares

= 300 * (8/100) * 10

= 240

Annual income(dividend) from the new shares

= 72 * (12/100) * 100

= 864

∴ Change in income = 864 - 240 = 624.

Hope it helps!

No.of 8% shares bought=4500/15=300shares

Shares sold at 30

So,sales proceeds=30*300=Rs.9000

No.of 12%shares bought =9000/125=72 shares

Dividend is paid as a percentage of the face value/nominal value

so,total dividend=8%*300*10+12%*100*72=240+864=Rs.1104
