Hii mate ..

The number of Bond pairs in XeF2 is 2...as it is bonded to 2 atoms of Florine.

The number of Lone pairs in XeF2 is 3....as Xenon is a noble gas , the valency is 8 and 2 are bonded so the remaining electrons are 6 which form 3 lone pairs.

The valency if Florine is 7 and its 1 electron is bonded with Xenon. ...so the number of Lone pairs in 1 Florine atom is 3 Therefore in 2 atoms it is 6.

So the difference between Lone pairs and Bond pairs is
Lone pairs = 3+3+3 = 9
Bond pairs = 2
Therefore the difference is 9 - 2 = 7.

Hope this helps you. ...
