Answer: 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Observe this:

(x+\sqrt{x^2-9} )(x-\sqrt{x^2-9} )\\ \\= (x)^2-(\sqrt{ x^2-9})^2(∵ (a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2)

= x^2-(x^2-9)\\\\= 9

Matlab, (x+\sqrt{x^2-9} )(x-\sqrt{x^2-9} ) =9  hua ....

now,  put x+\sqrt{x^2-9} = 9 into this

(9)(x-\sqrt{x^2-9} ) =9\\\\x-\sqrt{x^2-9} = 9/9 = 1
