HEY FRIEND.......!!!!!!!
HERE IS YOUR ANSWER..........!!!!!

a)

Here, h = 6cm = 6/100 m
d = 1000 kg/m^3
g = 10 m/s^2

Therefore, pressure exerted = hdg
= { (6/100) × 1000 × 10 } Pascal
= 600 Pascal

_______________________________

b) Area of the base
= 300 cm^2
= 3/100 m^2

Let the thrust on the base be F.

F = P × A (Area)
= { 600 × (3/100) } N
= 18 N
