let,
No of oranges=x
No of apples =x+10
Total No of fruits in the basket =78
No of apples in the basket=x+10+x=78
2x+10=78
2x=78-10
2x=68
x=68÷2
x=34
therefore No of apples is 34+10=44
No of oranges is 34
third sum answer
total amount =2500
Fatima collected =x+260+x=2500
x=2500-260÷2
1120
Nancy have 1120
