Answer:case1= if there are 'x'n no. Of roses are 'y'

Then, Atq.x =y -1.................(i)

(as 1 bee is more)

Case2 = when two bees go to 1 rose each then 1 rose is left

=> no.of roses is equal to half no.of bees + 1 left out rose

i.e.x = (y/2)+ 1................(ii)

Solving (i) &(ii)

y =4

x =3
