15. x = 2/5, y = 1/2

(x + y) ÷ (x -y)

(2/5 + 1/2) ÷ (2/5 - 1/2)

(4/10 + 5/10) ÷ (4/10 - 5/10)

9/10 ÷ (-1/10)

9/10 × 10/-1

-9

Hope it helps !

\Huge\bf\underline{\underline{\red{question}}}

Find (x+y)÷(x-y) if x=2/5 & y=1/2.

\Huge\bf\underline{\underline{\red{solution}}}

(x + y) \div (x - y)

 = ( \frac{2}{5}  +  \frac{1}{2}) \div ( \frac{2}{5} -  \frac{1}{2})

 = ( \frac{4 + 5}{10} ) \div ( \frac{4 - 5}{10} )

 =  \frac{9}{10}  \div ( \frac{ - 1}{10})

 =  \frac{9}{ - 1}

 =  (- 9)

Hence, the answer is (-9).

Thanks!
