Hey mate!!!!!

Given paid rupees was 100
returned 40
so cost = 100 - 40 = ₹60

now given cost = 5 × no. of bananas.
no. of bananas = 60/5
= 12

So you purchased 12 bananas.

By the way if you purchased the banana, then you should know the number. XD
JUST JOKING.

YOUR ANSWER IS 12
Hope it helps dear friend ☺️✌️✌️

so the answer is,
he paid the money to the shopkeeper =100
shopkeeper returned he=Rs40
cost of banana =Rs100-40=Rs60
so,
the cost of the banana is 5times the no if banana

60 \div 5 = 12
the no of banana =12
