( - 3 +  \sqrt{5} )( - 3 -  \sqrt{5} ) \\  \\   = - 3( - 3 -  \sqrt{5} ) +  \sqrt{5} ( - 3 -  \sqrt{5} ) \\  \\ =  9 + 3 \sqrt{5}  - 3 \sqrt{5}  -  {( \sqrt{5} )}^{2}  \\  \\ =  9 - 5 \\  \\  = 4

hope it helps

HELLO DEAR FRIEND

YOUR QUESTION

⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬

 \large{( - 3 +  \sqrt{5})( - 3 -   \sqrt{5} )  }

Here, if a = -3 , b = √5

then (a + b) (a - b) = a² - b²

 \large{( - 3 +  \sqrt{5})( - 3 -   \sqrt{5} )  }

 \large{ {( - 3)}^{2}  -  { \sqrt{ - 5} }^{2}   }

 \large{9 - 5}

 \large{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \huge \bf{4}}}}

HOPE IT HELPS
