Area of the quadrilateral-shaped field = Sum of the areas of all the triangles

Area of the quadrilateral-shaped field = ABD+DCB

Area of triangle ABD = 1/2 * base * height

                                    = 1/2 * 36 * 19

                                    = 342 m

Area of triangle DCB = 1/2 * base * height

                                    = 1/2 * 36 * 11

                                    = 198 m

So the total area of the quadrilateral-shaped field= 342 + 198

                                                   = 540 m
