hi freind..
A polar molecule is one which posses a net dipole as a result of the opposite charges in the atoms. As the net dipole is a vector quantity which depends on the direction, it is important to know the geometry of the molecules.

Now, from these molecules only those which has asymmetrical distribution of F around the central atom can have a net dipole moment.

As you can see that, only the IF5 has an asymmtrical distribution owing to have an axial F atom on the top, due to which it possess a net dipole moment and hence it is polar.
