if the point (3,4) lies on the graph of the equation
3y=ax+7 find the value of a

simple!

it is given x coordinate is 3 and y coordinate is 4

so subsitute,

3y= ax+7

3*4= a* 3 +7

12= 3a +7

12-7 = 3a

5= 3a

a= 5/3 is the answer
