In a convex mirror focal length is always positive. Since an object is always kepton negative side (left side).

→ 1/f = 1/u + 1/v

→ 1/(+ 15) = 1/(- 30) + 1/v

→ 1/15 = - 1/30 + 1/v

→ 1/v = 1/30 + 1/15

→ 1/v = (1 + 2)/30

→ 1/v = 3/30 = 1/10

→ v = + 10

This means that image will be formed 10 cm away from convex mirror in right-hand side.
