Let’s name the triangle in question 4 be triangle ABC and the triangle which is upside down be CAD
Since the height and base is given in triangle ABC so area of the triangle ABC will be 1/2 * b * h
= 1/2 * 7 * 4
= 14 cm2
Now, since the two triangles ABC and CAD are congruent then the base and the height will be same for triangle CAD
area of triangle CAD= 14cm2
Therefore, total area of the parallelogram is = area of triangle ABC + area of triangle CAD
= (14 + 14) cm2
= 28 cm2
