(x-3)(x + 7)= 0

So, x - 3 =0 ; x + 7 =0

x = 3, -7.

hope helped!!!

Solving means finding the values of variables like x and y from given equations.

(x-3)*(x+7)=0
If a product of terms is 0, then either one or both terms must 0.

So x-3=0. x = 3.
OR x+7=0. x = -7.
======
We can also solve it using quadratic equation.
Expanding LHS we get

x^2 +4x-21 = 0
discriminant = 4^2+4*21=100.
So x = [-4 +- sqrt(100)]/2
x= 3 or- 7.
