Alpha and beta are the zeros.
sum of the zeros (alpha+beta)=-b/a=1
product of the zeros (alpha×beta)=c/a=-4
Now,
= 1/alpha+1/beta-alpha.beta
=beta+alpha/alpha.beta - alpha.beta
=-1/4+4
= 15/4.
Hope this helps
