2. correct.  you have divided vertically the shaded area into equal 3 parts.
3. correct.  0.60 / 3 = 0.20 
4.  Incorrect.  Division problem:  
         section = shaded area / 3            or    shaded area = 3 * section
         shaded area = 0.60 * grid            or    grid = shaded area / 0.60
         section = 0.60 * grid / 3               or    grid = 3 * section / 0.60
 

5.  Correct.  shaded 72 squares right.
6.  Correct. each vertical column is a section.
7.  Wrong.  0.72 / 8 = 0.09
8.  Division problem: 
         section = shaded area / 8          or    shaded area = 8 * section
         Shaded area = 0.72 * grid          or    grid area = shaded area/ 0.72
         section = 0.09 * grid                  or     grid = section / 0.09
