When we place a plant under the fan the speed of air flow is very high. Transpiration will take place in presence of high air flow through the stomata. Wehave studied that increase in the rate of transpiration increases the water absorption also. ... This results in theabsorption of water by the root from the soil

Ur answer is opt..3 as when ur plant is kept under fan the stomatas are well exposed so more transpiration and inorder to overcome scarcity of water it will absorb more water...
