hii mate
The poem fog was written by Carl Sandburg, this is a poem which is written in 25 words and the meaning of the poem is focused on the fog which arrives in Chicago. The writer compares the fog with the kitten because kitten also comes with soft paws and without even giving any notice. Same is the case with fog, fog approaches exactly in the same way.
It tells that fog do not stay in the same place for a longer period of time it stays at one place for a small period of time and then moves on. It tells how harmful the fog can be at some time that the accidents occur and people really cannot see what is happening. Whereas the fog just sits there quietly and sees what is going on around just like kitten.

Answer:
Fog is a small poem written by Carl Sandburg. He has described the process of arrival of the fog into a city and the harbour. He had very beautifully compared it to a cat. The poet says that the fog which is generally seen during the winter season is coming towards the city and the harbour just like a cat. This means that it is approaching the city in a very silent manner so that no one notice its arrival. He had compared its arrival to that of a cat because a cat always enters a place silently. Next he says that the fog had covered the whole of the city and harbour and it appears as if it is sitting by folding is legs and looking around just the way a cat does when it suits in the haunches an need looks around. At the end, he describes the departure of the fog which very silently and unpredictably again sunil mar to the departure of the day vanishes.
