Hey friend, Harish here.

Here is your answer.

When we move the quadrilateral in vertical direction it only affects the y co - ordinate .As we are moving it 3 units downwards the y co - ordinates reduces its value by 3 units.

And when we move the quadrilateral in  horizontal direction it only affects the x co - ordinate . As we are moving it 4 units towards the left the x co - ordinate or the abscissa reduces it's value by 4 units.

Let the new points of the quadrilateral be  A', B' , C' , D'.

Then

Co - ordinates of A' : ( (2 - 4) , ( - 1 - 3) ) = ( -2 , -4 )

Co -Ordinates of B' : ( (1 - 4) , ( - 4 - 3) ) = ( -3 , -7 )

Co - Ordinates of C' : ( (3 - 4) , ( -5 - 3) ) = ( -1 , -8 )

Co - ordinates of D' : ( ( 5 - 4 ) , ( -3 - 3 ) ) = ( 1 , -6)

Refer to the image for clear understanding
