using snell's law:
sin (i)=u sin = sin (60)=3/2×sin (r)
= r = arcsin [2/3×sin (60)]
= r = arcsin (1/3 sqrt)
= cos (r) =hole sqrt 2/3
relation for the diameter of the beam:
Di = Dr
cos(i) cos(r)
= Dr= 2 hole sqrt 2/3
= Dr = 1.63 cm
therefore, diameter of the redfracted beam is 1.63
