Step-by-step explanation:

1) We know,a room is in the shape of a cuboid.

Let, length ( l ) = 3x,breadth(b)=2x,height(h)=1x or simply x

Also,T.S.A. of room = 352cm^2

We know,T.S.A. of cuboid = 2( l × b + b × h + h × l )

=> 352 = 2(3x × 2x + 2x × x + x × 3x)

=>352 =2(6x^2 + 2x^2 + 3x^2) = 2 × 11x^2 = 22x^2

=>352/22 = x^2

=>16 = x^2

=>x = root16 = 4

Now,put the value of x in l,b & h

Therefore,l = 3×4 = 12cm

b = 2×4 = 8cm

h = 1×4 = 4cm

2)Given,C.S.A. of right circular cylinder = 4400cm^2

circumference of base = 110cm

volume=?

We know,base of a cylinder is circular

therefore, 2 × pi × r = circumference

2 × 22/7 × r = 110

r = 17.5cm

also, 2 × pi × r × h = c.s.a of cylinder

=> 2 × 22/7 × 17.5 × h = 4400

=> h = 40cm

Volume = pi × r^2 × h = 22/7 × (17.5)^2 × 40 = 38500 cm^3 ans.
